Your incredible Halloween spirit made this year’s Haunt Your House contest one to remember. With nearly 300 votes cast, the community truly showed up to celebrate creativity and spooky fun!

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s winners. Congratulations to everyone who participated and helped make the season such a hit!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest! We are excited to announce House #3 as the winner! They have chosen Harbor Hope Cat Rescue as their charity and requested we donate the full $200 to this wonderful organization!

It’s time, Gig Harbor! Our annual Haunt Your House Halloween Contest & Tour takes you to 13 of the best-decorated homes in the harbor. We’ve got two easy routs, about 30 minutes each (not including stops). Take the tour, then vote for your favorites from October 17 through November 1!

Displays are generally best enjoyed after dark. Since these are private homes and each display is operated by the homeowner, lights, sound, animatronics and special effects may not be running at all times.

For the best experience, we recommend visiting between dusk and 9:30 PM. Some displays may offer additional effects or extended hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

Please be respectful of our participating homeowners and their neighbors while enjoying the displays.

This year’s Haunt Your House contest proudly supports Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank and Community Services, a local nonprofit helping our neighbors with food, clothing, and essential assistance. In the spirit of giving, our “Overall Favorite” and “Scariest” winners chose to donate their prize money as well! Their work makes a real difference for families right here in our community.

This year’s “Most Creative” winners chose to support Gig Harbor Women’s Co‑op by donating their prize money to the organization. The Co-op is a volunteer-run nonprofit that empowers women in the Gig Harbor area through a time bank, mutual-aid services, and community support.
